On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, pilgrims who traveled to Rome with the Archdiocese of Toronto gathered at St. Clement’s Parish in Etobicoke. The evening provided an opportunity to reflect fondly on the November 2025 Year of Jubilee pilgrimage to Rome, where 108 Catholics from more than 25 parishes experienced prayer, reflection and fellowship under the spiritual direction of Cardinal Frank Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto.

Cardinal Leo joined the pilgrim reunion and reminded all gathered the importance of maintaining a spirit of hope beyond the Jubilee Year. His Eminence recalled fondly the many Jubilee celebrations and activities over the course of the past year, inviting all gathered to reflect on the blessings of the Jubilee and to enter more deeply into a personal faith journey in the year ahead.

The evening was hosted by Fr. Tim Hanley, Chair of the Year of Jubilee (and Pastor of St. Clement’s Parish) along with joyful volunteers from the parish who provided exceptional warmth and hospitality.

We express our gratitude to all those throughout the archdiocese who made the Jubilee Year a special experience of personal renewal, bringing Catholics closer to their faith. May a spirit of hope continue throughout our archdiocese as we give thanks for the abundance of blessings experienced during the Year of Jubilee!
